Soon after the spill, Enbridge embarked upon a project to &#8220;replace&#8221; 210 miles of that pipeline, known as Line 6B. As\u00a0property owners along the pipeline route in\u00a0southeast Michigan directly affected by\u00a0the project, my wife Katy Bodenmiller and I began this blog as a clearinghouse for information for<a href=\"https:\/\/insideclimatenews.org\/news\/20120912\/enbridge-6B-oil-pipeline-michigan-public-services-commission-dilbit-kalamazoo-brandon\"> other landowners<\/a> and\u00a0a place for concerned residents to swap stories and share resources in the hopes of keeping Enbridge honest. We were told construction would last about four months; it lasted nearly four years.
