Here’s an interesting photo on this Veteran’s Day. The photo was taken over in Livingston County. Precision Pipeline is Enbridge’s general contractor for the Line 6B project.
Anybody notice anything troubling here? We think it’s an apt metaphor.

Is this just plain ignorance or an ego problem or both?
I think flag etiquette is just so grossly misunderstood. Afterall, we as Americans flew the flag at half mass when Whitney Huston died. Shame on this company for putting themselves first!
However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that they were flying one at all!
So many of my family members have died fighting for our Freedom! Starting from the American Revolution to the Iraq war. I think enbridge should send these men to sensitivity classes! Hoorah to all our Veterans you have given so much to our Country! MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

You’re totally right, Shannon. Mainly, we just liked the symbolism of the thing. And it’s probably a bit of both, Linda!
